Layers Game is a browser-based daily puzzle that connects clue solving, word grouping and a final meta answer. Its opening layer contains four mini-puzzles: Clue Stack, Missing Link, Word Shift and Letter Path. Solving them gives you words that reappear in the next stage. The middle layer is a grouping challenge. Arrange sixteen words into four sets of four, using the clue answers as pieces of a larger pattern. You can make five mistakes, and the “one away” signal tells you that three choices in a proposed set are correct. The last layer asks you to use the four group key words to solve a meta puzzle. Each layer has three hint levels. Your result records time, mistakes and hints, with spoiler-free sharing available. Everyone receives the same daily board; a fresh one appears at local midnight. If you expect the usual Wordle board, note that Layers uses a different format. Its mix of mini-clues and category grouping gives each daily puzzle a distinct solving rhythm.
How to Play Layers Game Wordle Puzzles
Controls
Use the play button above to open Layers at its own site. Begin with Layer 1 and solve Clue Stack, Missing Link, Word Shift and Letter Path to collect four answers. In Layer 2, sort sixteen words into four groups of four. The four clue answers appear on the board, but they are not one-per-group. You have five mistakes; “one away” means three selected words fit together. Use the group names and feedback to refine your choices. The final layer uses the four group key words to solve a meta puzzle. Each layer offers three hint levels. Your result records time, mistakes and hints and can be shared without spoilers. A shared daily puzzle unlocks at local midnight; archive boards are for practice and do not extend the streak.

Layers Daily Puzzle and Wordle FAQ
Where can I play Layers Game?
Use the play button above to open the daily puzzle at layersgame.org. Layers runs in a browser, and its official how-to-play guide explains the three-stage structure before you start solving.
Is Layers Game the same as Wordle?
No. Layers is a daily word puzzle, but it does not use the classic five-letter guess-and-color grid. You solve four small clues, group sixteen words, and then use the group answers to solve a final meta clue.
What happens in the three Layers puzzle stages?
Layer 1 contains Clue Stack, Missing Link, Word Shift and Letter Path. Layer 2 asks you to form four groups from sixteen words. Layer 3 uses the four group key words to complete a final meta puzzle.
What does “one away” mean and how many mistakes do I get?
The grouping layer allows five mistakes. “One away” means three of your four selected words belong together, so change one choice before submitting again and use the feedback to narrow the possible group.
Do hints and archive puzzles affect my result or streak?
Each layer offers three hint levels, and the result records time, mistakes and hints used. You can play archived or additional boards for practice, but the guide says those boards do not count toward the daily streak.
